How to set up email forwarding from MyWestern

  1. Log into MyWestern, then click the "email" icon
  2. A new window will open, with your WWU email messages in it. Next, click the "Options" link at the top of the window.
  3. To set up forwarding click the link near the bottom of the window titled "Forward MyWestern Mail to another account." You will then acknowledge that your official email will be sent to some off-campus account, and then be asked what that email address is.
  4. Great! Once that's done, all email sent to your wwu.edu address will be instantly sent along to whatever address you entered. You should probably send yourself a test email to your wwu.edu address, just to make sure that forwarding works (and that Hotmail doesn't decide that all email from wwu.edu is spam, or something goofy like that).
